A nice idea I'm stealing from Cabellicious

If you wanted to reveal yourself completely to someone who has no knowledge of you at all, and all you could do was communicate two books, which ones would you pick?

The first one was easy, "All in the Timing" by David Ives. A book that none of my friends have ever read, despite how much I love it. The second one was surprisingly difficult, but I ultimately had to go with "Starman" by James Robinson, considering the few diehards who proclaim my similarity to the lead, Jack Knight. And look! The link comes with a picture of me in goggles! =)

I feel satisfied in my Australia lecture material (though I would love to hear Australian Andrew's two cents. Maybe I could get him to come in, crack glasses over his head, and teach the class how to swear properly), so now I'm going to get a big bowl of ice cream and watch Beat Takeshi kill everyone. Good night!

Don't we get 3 or 4 books to describe us? (God, I sound like the kids I subbed for today! Whine, whine.)

So f%#@*ing difficult, but I would have to say The Awakening by Kate Chopin (sad but true) and The Neverending Story by Michael Ende (yay).

How do you do italics on lj?
